Kamala Harris and Joe Rogan: Potential Podcast Collaboration?

In a bid to bolster her support among male voters, Kamala Harris is reportedly in talks to appear on Joe Rogan's wildly popular podcast, "The Joe Rogan Experience." With the election approaching, this potential collaboration could provide Harris with a unique platform to engage a largely male audience, particularly as recent polls indicate a decline in her support among this demographic. As both candidates vie for attention on Rogan’s show, the stakes are high for Harris, who has been ramping up her media presence in recent weeks. Podcaster Joe Rogan and VP Kamala Harris are reportedly in talks to do a show together.

TPV: According to Reuters, sources have claimed that the Democratic presidential nominee could sit down for an interview with podcaster Joe Rogan, whose audience leans heavily towards young men, as she desperately tries to shore up support with male voters.

Her cringe worthy ad aimed at ‘real men‘ is obviously not working then!

While no appearance has been confirmed yet, the news comes at the same time that Donald Trump has said that he is already scheduled to be on Rogan’s show.

The Mail Online reports: The ex-president called Rogan a ‘good guy’ who is ‘so well known because of the UFC.’

It appears Rogan’s team is working both candidates to try and get them before his massive and mostly male audience before people head to the ballots or mail in their vote.

And the opportunity could be big for Harris, who has seen her support among male voters slip as polling shows the race between her and Trump narrowing.

After largely avoiding interviews after becoming the Democratic nominee in late July, Harris has been on a media blitz of late.

Last week, she appeared on a special Monday night episode of 60 Minutes.

On Tuesday, she traveled to New York to make appearances on The View, Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show and the Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

She also taped an episode of the popular yet controversial podcast Call Her Daddy.

Rogan’s podcast called ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ (JRE) has consistently been the most popular show in the U.S. for years, garnering millions of plays from his some 13 – 19 million followers depending on the platform.

The music streaming platform Spotify, which famously signed Rogan to a deal reportedly worth more than $250 million, announced in March that JRE has 14.5 million followers.

Rogan has 13 million followers on X, 19 on Instagram and 17 million on YouTube.

A good majority of them are young males — the exact cohort Kamala Harris is trying to make inroads with weeks before Election Day on November 5.

Joe Rogan's podcast, known for its wide-ranging discussions and engaging format, attracts millions of listeners, particularly young men. With Kamala Harris's recent struggles to connect with this audience, an appearance on Rogan's show could be a strategic move to enhance her visibility and appeal. Meanwhile, Donald Trump has also expressed interest in appearing on the podcast, further highlighting the platform's significance in the current political landscape. As both candidates navigate the lead-up to the election, their engagements with popular media figures like Rogan could shape voter perceptions and influence the outcome at the polls.
