Putin Warns UK & Ukraine Plotting ‘False Flag’ Environmental Disaster To Blame Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin has issued a grave warning that the UK and Ukraine are plotting a ‘false flag’ environmental disaster, orchestrating a sabotage attack on Russia’s “Shadow Fleet” of oil tankers to falsely blame Moscow for an ecological catastrophe. According to a statement from Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) released Monday, British intelligence agencies are preparing to use NATO allies in a mass raid designed to cripple the fleet and disrupt global shipping under the pretext of countering Russian sanctions evasion.

Putin Warns UK & Ukraine Plotting ‘False Flag’ Environmental Disaster To Blame Russia

The SVR document alleges that the operation aims to create widespread damage, framing the transportation of Russian oil as a universal threat while concealing the true perpetrators. This purported scheme, if executed, could lead to massive oil spills and environmental devastation, escalating tensions amid ongoing geopolitical conflicts. As the Kremlin highlights these claims, international observers question the validity of the accusations, viewing them as potential propaganda, while the UK and Ukraine have yet to respond, heightening fears of further hybrid warfare tactics in the region.

Infowars.com reports: SVR said the UK has two potential casus belli, which include blocking petroleum tankers and inspecting the boats for “compliance with the requirements of maritime safety and environmental standards, or setting a tanker on fire near a port of a nation friendly to Russia in order to “damage port infrastructure” and spread the flames to nearby vessels, “which will require an international investigation.”

The Ukrainian security forces would allegedly be used in the “terrorist” attacks coordinated by the British, and an ensuing investigation would pin the blame on Russia, the warning suggested.

The attack would be used to pressure the Trump administration and “force Washington to take the most severe secondary sanctions against buyers of Russian energy resources,” Russia explained.

Russia’s statement comes as it warned the Trump administration to tone down its nuclear rhetoric on Monday after POTUS ordered U.S. nuclear submarines to mobilize last week.
