Startling video exposes how aggressive trans ideology has taken over American lives

Independent News:

Filmmaker and leading left ideology bender Christopher Rufo recently posted a biting Manhattan Institute-produced video that exposes the monied interests, activist intellectuals and influential child-mutilating doctors behind the aggressive trans revolution in America.

The said short film titled "The Transgender Empire: How the trans movement conquered American life," published on Rufo's Substack page and on YouTube is divided into four sections. It tackles how the transgender movement has completely moved to conquer the lives of American people, be they transgender, non-binary or cisgender.

"Activist teachers have converted classrooms into propaganda. Influencers are driving billions of social media impressions. And doctors are cutting up kids in the name of gender-affirming care," the senior fellow at the American conservative think tank and one of the nation's leading authorities on gender ideology, its queer theory foundation and critical race theory (CRT) said.

"This is the great project of the transgender movement: to abolish the distinctions of man and woman, to transcend the limitations established by creation, to hitch the personal struggle of trans individuals to the political struggle of revolution," Rufo claimed. "All of society must be reorganized to affirm their identities, and more importantly, their politics."

The video aims to let the audience understand how America arrived at the point where radical transgender ideology persists. He opened the documentary by saying that it features rage-filled intellectuals, a trans-billionaire benefactor, and large-scale medical experiments in a Detroit ghetto. It cited queer theorist Susan Stryker, a male-to-female (MtF), who argues that "the transsexual body is a technological construction that represents a war against Western society."

"I am a transsexual, and therefore I am a monster," Stryker is quoted as writing in his "Trans Movement Manifesto." Rufo continues: "And this body, Stryker says, is destined to channel its rage and revenge against the 'naturalized heterosexual order,' against 'traditional family values,' and against the 'hegemonic oppression' of nature itself."

Rufo pointed out that the transgender movement is inherently political, using the construction of personal identity to advance a collective political vision, with some transgender activists even believing their movement represents the future of Marxism.

The truth about "gender-affirming" procedures

In the final part of the video, titled, "Frankenstein's Nihilism," Rufo exposed the shocking reality of gender alteration interventions or child mutilation treatments, including one called "nullification." "In this procedure, doctors perform a castration ... on the patient, then create a smooth, continuous skin covering from the abdomen to the groin, reducing the genitalia to nothing," he said. "This barbaric procedure is the perfect symbol for the ideology itself. Nullification is the pursuit of the Latin nullam, meaning nothing, and that is exactly where trans ideology ends. A profound nihilism that denies human nature and enables barbarism in the name of progress."

In his Substack newsletter, Rufo received encouraging feedback on this video production.

"In less than 15 minutes, you named the biggest names, delve into the deepest philosophical error at the root of transgenderism—that it is a form of technological transhumanism, and thus a form of nihilism—and do so in a vivid, evocative way. The Marxism framing is helpful and compelling, but it would have been incomplete if you hadn't woven it together with Frankenstein. Naturam expelles furca, tamen usque recurret," Pavlos Papadopoulos, assistant professor of Humanities at Wyoming Catholic College commented.

Another subscriber, Rick Kludt, said: "Americans have been totally manipulated by the media once again, into believing in the evolution of "mankind;" transgenderism. Your referencing Frankenstein is totally putting this lie into perspective. Perhaps folks in 1800 were really smarter than we are today, and maybe less vulnerable to manipulation of evil."

Northeastern Illinois University biopsychologist Frederick Prete thanked Rufo for the thought-provoking piece. "Most concerning are the misunderstandings and misuse of biology in the service of a very harmful ideology. As a biological psychologist, I still cannot get my mind wrapped around the degree to which people have become so committed to the widespread use of these irreversible medical interventions on the young and the vulnerable," he lamented.
