According to a recent report by intelligence agents, China‘s People’s Liberation Army is developing brain-control weaponry. These advanced high-technology weapons can also manipulate the thoughts of government officials or even entire populations, The Washington Times reported.

Report highlights China’s army developing brain-control weaponry that could become a possibility

These weapons use technologies like microwaves or directed energy to directly target and influence the human brain. The report highlights that the threat posed by China’s brain warfare weapons is not just a theoretical possibility. It could become a real concern in future conflicts, it added.

“Unknown to many, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its People’s Liberation Army (PLA) have established themselves as world leaders in the development of neurostrike weapons,” the report stated. “Enumerating, Targeting and Collapsing the Chinese Communist Party’s Neurostrike Program,” the report added.

Surprisingly, there has been limited public research or discourse on this emerging military capability.

U.S Commerce Department blacklisted a dozen Chinese companies in 2021

In December 2021, the U.S. Commerce Department took action by imposing sanctions on China’s Academy of Military Medical Sciences and 11 associated entities.

This list prohibits the export of American technology to these entities without a government license, The Washington Post reported. The reason for the sanctions was their alleged involvement in utilizing biotechnology methods to aid Chinese military purposes, including the development of weapons that are claimed to have the ability to control humans.

Additionally, the Commerce Department added over a dozen Chinese companies to the blacklist. This action was based on their involvement in aiding the modernization efforts of the Chinese military and their support of Iran‘s weapons program and defense industry.

“The scientific pursuit of biotechnology and medical innovation can save lives,” Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo said in a statement. “Unfortunately, [China] is choosing to use these technologies to pursue control over its people and its repression of members of ethnic and religious minority groups. We cannot allow U.S. commodities, technologies, and software that support medical science and biotechnical innovation to be diverted toward uses contrary to U.S. national security.”
